NAZMA – CANCER OF PAROTID GLAND. Recovery after treatment
Recovery post-surgery NAZMA had cancer of the parotid gland which involved the nerves. Nerve monitoring surgery was done. Both ends of the facial nerve were identified. The nerves had to be cut as they were involved. A good microsurgical nerve grafting was done. The patient needed Radiotherapy as well. Good physiotherapy with nerve stimulation was started after surgery and continued post-radiotherapy.
One year after the treatment, NAZMA completely recovered. She is an inspiration to many.

The annual day of the Pusa Association Of Retired Agriculture Scientists, ICAR- Indian Agriculture Research Institute was marked with a motivational speech for action by Dr. Pawan Gupta M.Ch. Motivational speaker, Social activist, and a CANCER SURGEON par excellence.
